Lord Vishnu immediately grabbed Bhrigu’s feet and started asking if the sage’s leg  hurt. But Goddess Lakshmi did not like this behavior of Rishi Bhrigu and she got angry with Vishnu. The displeasure was due to the fact that why the Lord did not punish the sage Bhrigu.

Lord Vishnu also changed his form then and reached Padmavati. The Lord proposed marriage to Padmavati, which the Goddess accepted.

Now where did the money come from, then Vishnu ji took a lot of money loan from Kuber considering Lord Shiva and Brahma ji as witnesses to find a solution to the problem. This debt led to the marriage of Lord Vishnu’s Venkatesh form and Padmavati, a part of Goddess Lakshmi, which was an unprecedented marriage.

After marriage, the Lord started living on the hills of Tirumala, while taking a loan from Kubera, the Lord had promised that he would repay all his debt by the end of Kali Yuga. He will continue to pay interest till the loan is over.
