Less knowledgeable persons cannot realize the true meaning of the flowery words of the Vedas, which say various fruitive activities for promoting to heavenly planets, resultant good birth, power, etc.

People, in general, aren’t very intelligent, and because of their ignorance, they’re most connected to the dull activities endorsed in the karma-kanda portions of the Vedas.

Draupadi's Bastraharan

Vedas advocates many sacrifices for elevation to the heavenly planets, like the jyotistoma sacrifices. In fact,  far said that everyone wanting elevation to heavenly planets ought to perform those sacrifices, and ignorant persons assume that this the whole purpose of Vedic wisdom. It could be very hard for such inexperienced individuals to be situated in the decided action of Krsna consciousness.

In the karma-kanda segment of the Vedas it’s far stated that people who carry out the 4 month-to-month penances become eligible to drink the somarasa drinks to become immortal and happy forever. Even on this earth, a few are very keen to have somarasa to come to be strong and fit to enjoy sense gratifications.

They are commonly sensual, and they do not need anything apart from the heavenly pleasures of life. It  known that there gardens known as nandana-kanana wherein there a good possibility for affiliation with angelic, lovely girls and having a profuse supply of somarasa wine. Such bodily happiness truly sensual; so there are people who are purely connected to the material, temporary happiness, as lords of the material world.

O Arjuna raises above the three subjects that Veda deals with. You have to be transcendental to all of them. Keep away from all confusion and from all tension for-profit and safety, and be established in the Self.

All material activities contain actions and reactions in the 3 modes of material nature. They  supposed for fruitive results, which reason for bondage in the material world. The Vedas deal by and large with fruitive activities to step by step raise the general public from the field of sense gratification to a position at the transcendental plane.

Arjuna, as a pupil and friend of Lord Krsna, recommended to elevate himself to the transcendental position of Vedanta philosophy where, in the beginning, there may be brahma-jijnasa, or questions about the Supreme Transcendence.

Krshna and Arjuna

All the living entities who’re in the material world are struggling very tough for existence. For them, the Lord, after the introduction of the material world, gave the Vedic knowledge advising the way to stay and do away with the material entanglement.

When the activities for sense gratification, namely the karma-kanda chapter, finished, then the chance for religious consciousness obtainable in the form of the Upanisads, which might be part of different Vedas, because the Bhagavad-gita part of the 5th Veda, namely the Mahabharata. The Upanisads mark the beginning of transcendental life.

As long as the material body exists, there are actions and reactions withinside the material modes. One has to analyze tolerance in the face of dualities which includes happiness and distress, or cold and warmth, and by tolerating such dualities will become free from anxieties regarding gain and loss. This transcendental position  accomplished in complete Krsna consciousness while one is fully dependent on the goodwill of Krsna.
