Slokas of Gita#38

yoga-sthah kuru karmani
sangam tyaktva dhananjaya
siddhy-asiddhyoh samo bhutva
samatvam yoga ucyate

Be steadfast in yoga, O Arjuna. Do your duty without remain concern about the result. Such steadiness of mind is called yoga.

Krsna advised Arjuna to act in yoga. Yoga teaches us to pay attention to the Supreme and control worries of mind. The Supreme is the Lord. Because due to the fact Lord Himself is asking Arjuna to fight, Arjuna has nothing to do with the result of the fight. Gain or victory are Krsna’s concern; Arjuna is without a doubt cautioned to act in line with the dictation of Krsna. By Krsna consciousness only can one surrender the sense of proprietorship. One has to turn out to be the servant of Krsna, or the servant of Krsna. That is the proper way to discharge responsibility in Krsna consciousness, which alone can help one to act in yoga.

Slokas of Gita#38

durena hy avaram karma
buddhi-yogad dhananjaya
buddhau saranam anviccha
krpanah phala-hetavah

O Dhananjaya, give devotional service and not fruitful service, and surrender fully to that consciousness. Do not be miser to think of enjoying the fruit of your work.

Only misers choose to enjoy the fruit in their very own work simply to be further entangled in material bondage. One ought to consequently never choose to be the reason for work. Everything ought to be carried out in Krsna consciousness for the pride of Krsna.

Darupadi and Duryadhan

Misers do now no longer know how to make use of the belongings of riches that they accumulate by good fortune or by hard labor. One ought to spend all energies working in Krsna consciousness, and so as to make one’s life successful. Like the misers, unlucky people do now no longer hire their human energy in the service of the Lord.

Slokas of Gita#38

buddhi-yukto jahatiha
ubhe sukrta-duskrte
tasmad yogaya yujyasva
yogah karmasu kausalam

A man who adopts devotional service escapes himself from both good and bad actions. So, O Arjuna, go for yoga.

Since time immemorial every living entity has collected the diverse reactions of his good and bad work, As such, he’s constantly unaware of his actual constitutional position. Bhagavad-gita teaches one to give up unto Lord Sri Krsna in all respects and emerge as liberated from the chained victimization of action and reaction, birth after birth. Arjuna is consequently suggested to behave in Krsna consciousness, the purifying procedure of resultant action.

Slokas of Gita#38

karma-jam buddhi-yukta hi
phalam tyaktva manisinah
janma-bandha-vinirmuktah
padam gacchanty anamayam

The wise, engaged in devotional service, take refuge in the Supreme, and liberated themselves from the cycle of birth and death. This is the way to stay away from all miseries.

One who liberated can seek that place in which there are no material miseries. The Bhagavatam says:

samasrita ye padapallava-plavam

mahat-padam punya-yaso murareh

bhavambudhir vatsa-padam param padam

param padam yad vipadam na tesam

“For the person who has accepted the boat of the lotus feet of the Lord, who’s the safe haven of the cosmic manifestation and is well-known as Mukunda or the giver of mukti, the sea of the material world is just like the water contained in a calf’s hoofprint. Param padam, or the place in which there are no material miseries or Vaikuntha, is his goal, not the place in which there may be danger in each step of life.”

servitor of the Lord

One does not understand because of his ignorance that in this material world there is depression and there are dangers everywhere. Out of lack of knowledge only, much less clever individuals attempt to adjust to the situation by fruitive activities, thinking that resultant actions will cause them too happy.

They do not recognize that no form of material from everywhere in the universe can provide existence with out miseries. The miseries of life, namely birth, death, old age, and diseases, are present anywhere withinside the material world. But the person who is familiar with his actual constitutional position because the eternal servitor of the Lord, and for that reason is aware of the position of the Personality of Godhead, engages himself in the transcendental loving service of the Lord. Consequently, he will become qualified to go into the Vaikuntha planets, in which there may be neither material, miserable life, nor the impact of time and death.
