Slokas of Gita#32

dehi nityam avadhyo ‘yam
dehe sarvasya bharata
tasmat sarvani bhutani
na tvam socitum arhasi

O inheritor of Bharata, he who lives in the body cannot die. Therefore, you need not grieve for any creature.

The Lord now concludes the chapter of guidance at the immutable spirit soul. In describing the immortal soul in diverse ways, Lord Krsna establishes that the soul is immortal and the body is temporary. Therefore Arjuna as a ksatriya need to now no cannot deny his obligation may whoever die in the battle, be it his grandfather and teacher—Bhisma and Drona. On the authority of Sri Krsna, one has to consider that there may be a soul exceptional from the material body, now no longer that there may be no such issue as soul, or that living signs and symptoms develop at a certain level of material maturity on account of the interaction of chemicals. Though the soul is immortal, violence isn’t encouraged, however in the time of battle it isn’t discouraged when there may be real wants for it.

Slokas of Gita#32

sva-dharmam api caveksya
na vikampitum arhasi
dharmyad dhi yuddhac chreyo ‘nyat
ksatriyasya na vidyate

Kshatriya has specific duty to perform, you should know that the only way for you to fight on religious principles, and so there is no scope for a double mind.

The ksatriyas are educated about killing withinside the forest. A Kshatriya could move into the wooded area and challenge a tiger head to head and fight with the tiger together along with his sword. When the tiger was killed, it’d be offered the royal order of cremation. This system is being observed even as much as the modern-day through the Kshatriya kings of Jaipur state.

The ksatriyas are specifically skilled in challenging and killing due to the fact spiritual violence is sometimes an essential factor. Therefore, ksatriyas cannot take the life of sannyasa or renunciation. Nonviolence in politics can be diplomacy, however, it is in no way a factor or precept. In the spiritual law books it is stated:

ahavesu mitho ‘nyonyam jighamsanto mahiksitah

yuddhamanah param saktya svargam yanty aparanmukhah

yajnesu pasavo brahman hanyante satatam dvijaih

samskrtah kila mantrais ca te ‘pi svargam avapnuvan.

“In the battlefield, a king or Kshatriya, even as combating another king envious of him, is eligible for accomplishing heavenly planets after death, because the Brahmanas also achieve the heavenly planets through sacrificing animals in the sacrificial fire.

” Therefore, killing the warfare at the spiritual principle and the killing of animals withinside the sacrificial fire isn’t at all taken into consideration to be acts of violence, due to the fact anyone is benefitted through the spiritual principles involved. The animal sacrificed receives a human life immediately with out undergoing the slow evolutionary process from one form to another, and the Kshatriyas killed at the battlefield also achieve the heavenly planets as do the Brahmanas who achieve them through offering sacrifice.

Krsna and Arjuna

There are types of svadharmas, and particular duties. As long as one is not liberated, one has to carry out the obligations of that specific body according to spiritual principles with the intention to obtain liberation. When one is liberated, one’s svadharma—particular duty—will become religious and is not withinside the material bodily concept. In the bodily concept of life, there are particular duties for the Brahmanas and ksatriyas respectively, and such obligations are unavoidable. Svadharma is ordained through the Lord, and this could be clarified withinside the Fourth Chapter.

On the bodily plane, svadharma is known as varnashrama-dharma, or man’s steppingstone for religious understanding. Human civilization starts from the stage of varnashrama-dharma, or particular duties in terms of the particular modes of nature of the body obtained. Discharging one’s particular duty in any area of action according to varnasrama-dharma serves to raise one to a higher status in life.

yadrcchaya copapannam
svarga-dvaram apavrtam
sukhinah ksatriyah partha
labhante yuddham idrsam

O Partha, the Kshatriyas become happy to whom such fighting opportunities come, these may lead them to heavenly planets.

As a supreme teacher of the world, Lord Krsna condemns the attitude of Arjuna who said, “I do not find any good in this fighting. It will cause permanent home in hell.” This was Arjuna’s ignorance.
