Have we ever heard anybody saying that smoking cigarette is good for health? No. But everybody says that it is bad for health. But what is bad about it? Tobacco can be divided into six broad important types. They are FCV tobacco (Flue-Cured Virginia Tobacco), Country Tobacco, Burley Tobacco, Bidi Tobacco, Rustica Tobacco, and Chewing Tobacco.
India is the fourth largest exporter of unmanufactured Tobacco. Our export earnings for the year 2019-20 was Rs. 5969.59 crores.

Type of soil: Karnataka Light Soil (Mysore)
