In this post, Slokas From Gita (Nos.41-43)(Ch.I), the text of Bhagavat Gita narrated. Slokas From Gita (No.41-43)(Ch.I) consists of the  41st, 42nd and 43rd Slokas of CH.1. Observing the Army on the Battlefield of Kurukshetra from the Gita. 

 

Bhagavad Gita or Gitopanisad is one of the most important Upanishad. Bhagavad Gita is the philosophy of life narrated and explained by Lord Krsna to his devotee and friend Arjuna.

sankaro narakayaiva
kula-ghnanam kulasya ca
patanti pitaro hy esam
lupta-pindodaka-kriyah

When there an increase in unwanted population, a hellish situation is created both for the family and those who destroy the family tradition. There is no offering of oblations of food and water to the ancestors in such corrupt families.

Mahavarata

According to the guidelines and rules of fruitive activities, there’s a need to provide periodical food and water to the forefathers of the own circle of relatives. This imparting done through the worship of Visnu due to the fact consuming the remnants of food presented to Visnu can deliver one from all forms of sinful actions. Sometimes the forefathers can be tormented by numerous forms of sinful reactions, and sometimes a number of them can not even collect a gross material body and pressured to stay in diffused our bodies as ghosts. Thus, while remnants of prasadam food provided to forefathers by descendants, the forefathers  released from ghostly or other forms of miserable existence.

Such help rendered to forefathers is a family tradition, and people who not in devotional life required to carry out such rituals. One who engaged in devotional life not always required to perform such actions. Simply by acting devotional service, one could deliver masses and hundreds of forefathers from all kinds of misery. It said in the Bhagavatam:

dosair etaih kula-ghnanam
varna-sankara-karakaih
utsadyante jati-dharmah
kula-dharmas ca sasvatah

 

By the evil deeds of the destroyers of family tradition, all kinds of community projects and family welfare activities  devastated.

 

The four orders of human society, set forth by the institution of the sanatana-dharma or varnasrama-dharma in combination with family welfare activities, designed to enable the human being to attain his ultimate salvation. The breaking of the sanatana-dharma tradition by irresponsible leaders of society end up in chaos in that society, and as a result, people forget the aim of life—Visnu. Such leaders called blind, and followers of such leaders are sure to be led into chaos.

manusyanam janardana
narake niyatam vaso
bhavatity anususruma

O Krsna, maintainer of the people, I have heard by disciplic succession that those who destroy family traditions dwell always in hell.

Krsna and Arjuna

Arjuna argued based on what he has heard from the authorities. That is the way how one can receive real knowledge. One needs to be helped by the right person to reach the real point of factual knowledge, a person who already established in that knowledge.

Varnasrama institution is a practice by which one has to undergo the process of ablution before death for his sinful activities. A regular offender, who engaged in sinful activities must utilize the process of ablution called the prayascitta. One who does not do so surely will find himself on hellish planets to undergo miserable lives as the result of sinful activities.
